2018-19 School Year Openings

  • High school teacher/school principal.  One full time person to teach high school courses part-time and serve as principal part-time.
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Born again believer in Jesus Christ with regular attendance at an evangelical church.
      • Have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
      • Have earned at least 18 semester hours of credit in educational administration and supervision from an accredited institution of higher learning as part of a graduate degree or in addition to a graduate degree, or actively working toward meeting this requirement within five years (an Action Plan may be developed within the first year of hire).
    • An ideal candidate will additionally:
      • Have earned a graduate degree in educational administration and supervision from an accredited institution of higher learning.
      • Have administration experience in an educational/ministry environment.
      • Have experience teaching high school.

 

  • High school teachers for English Language Arts, History, Math, Science, and Fine Arts
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Born again believer in Jesus Christ with regular attendance at an evangelical church.
      • Have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning that includes 12 semester hours of credit in teacher education as part of or in addition to the degree, or is actively working toward meeting this requirement within three years.
    • An ideal candidate will additionally:
      • Have experience teaching high school.

 

  • Two openings for full time teachers’ aides.
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Born again believer in Jesus Christ with regular attendance at an evangelical church.
      • Have earned a high school diploma.
    • An ideal candidate will additionally:
      • Have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning that includes 12 semester hours of credit in teacher education as part of or in addition to the degree, or is actively working toward meeting this requirement within three years.
      • Have experience serving as a teacher’s aide.

 

  • Full time special needs teacher.
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Born again believer in Jesus Christ with regular attendance at an evangelical church.
      • Have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning that includes 12 semester hours of credit in teacher education as part of or in addition to the degree, or is actively working toward meeting this requirement within three years.
    • An ideal candidate will additionally:
      • Have experience working with special needs students.

 

  • Part-time Four-year-old Kindergarten (4K) teacher and lunch/recess supervisor.
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Born again believer in Jesus Christ with regular attendance at an evangelical church.
      • Have earned an associate of arts degree, Child Development Associate (CDA) level on The Registry, or bachelor’s degree that includes 12 semester hours of credit in teacher education as part of or in addition to the degree.
    • An ideal candidate will additionally:
      • Have experience teaching in early childhood education.

 

  • Part-time elementary Music teacher.
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Born again believer in Jesus Christ with regular attendance at an evangelical church.
      • Have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning that includes 12 semester hours of credit in teacher education as part of or in addition to the degree, or is actively working toward meeting this requirement within three years.
    • An ideal candidate will additionally:
      • Have experience teaching elementary music.

 

  • Part-time elementary PhyEd teacher.
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Born again believer in Jesus Christ with regular attendance at an evangelical church.
      • Have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning that includes 12 semester hours of credit in teacher education as part of or in addition to the degree, or is actively working toward meeting this requirement within three years.
    • An ideal candidate will additionally:
      • Have experience teaching elementary PhyEd.

 

  • Part-time elementary Art teacher.
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Born again believer in Jesus Christ with regular attendance at an evangelical church.
      • Have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning that includes 12 semester hours of credit in teacher education as part of or in addition to the degree, or is actively working toward meeting this requirement within three years.
    • An ideal candidate will additionally:
      • Have experience teaching elementary Art.

 

  • Part-time custodian.
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Born again believer in Jesus Christ with regular attendance at an evangelical church.
      • Have earned a high school diploma.
      • Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate commercial cleaning equipment.
    • An ideal candidate will additionally:
      • Have custodial experience.
