Kim Hilario is the Kindergarten Teacher at CCS. She has worked in the field of early childhood education for over 25 years. She attended UW-Madison where she received a B.S. in Child and Family Studies and Early Childhood Education. She has experience working with ELL students and families as well as children with special needs. She has also had the privilege of working with children from all over the world. Kim is very excited to join CCS as the Kindergarten Teacher this year and will be collaborating with the 1st and 2nd grade class for Bible, History and Science.
After college, Kim became very interested in missions. She completed Discipleship Training School and School of Evangelism with Youth with a Mission (YWAM). She served as a missionary in Texas, Mexico, and Peru with YWAM from 1989-1992. It is her desire to foster a love of learning in her students and to be a reflection of Christ’s love.
Kim has 2 daughters (Vanessa, 21, and Olivia, 12). In her free time she enjoys spending time with her girls, traveling, reading, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and trying out ideas from Pinterest.
