Yearbook Order Forms – Due Friday, May 6th
The eighth grade class is working hard to complete the yearbook. If you would like a memory page included for your students, or would like to order a yearbook, please complete the enclosed form and return it with payment no later than Friday, May 6th.
Didion Ethanol Plant Tour – Wednesday, April 27
The high school and 8th grade students will be taking a tour of the Ethanol Plant in Cambria. They will be learning about ethanol production. The high school teachers will be driving and chaperoning this trip.
Half Day Service Project – Friday, April 29th
Our final all-school service project will be at Expeditions Unlimited, a local Christian camp near Devil’s Lake. We will be helping prepare the camp for their spring and summer events. Expeditions will be providing transportation.
Students will be dismissed from CCS at 12:30 p.m.
Classroom Competition – May 1 through May 16
Last push this school year to bring in all your BoxTops, Labels 4 Education, Milk Moola, and Coke Rewards. The class with the highest percentage of labels brought in will receive a special reward. Start clipping! We will receive 1 bonus point for each “Labels For Education” label submitted during May (see enclosed flyers for qualifying products).
National Day of Prayer – Thursday, May 5
Community Christian School has been asked to sing at the National Day of Prayer. This event is held on the Sauk County Courthouse lawn in downtown Baraboo. The students and teachers for Kindergarten through 8th grade will be singing “America the Beautiful” this year. It is a privilege and an honor to be a part of this special day. Permission slips are in today’s take home folder.
3rd-5th Field Trip to Rural Safety Camp – May 18
Students in Mrs. Diers’s class will take part in the annual Rural Safety Camp held at the Sauk County Fairgrounds. They will learn about safety issues and prevention in 12 different disciplines. Permission slips for this field trip will be sent home next week.
Middle School Food Pantry Service Project – May 18
The Middle School students will be spending a few hours helping set up the Food Pantry at Bridgepoint Mission Center in Wisconsin Dells. If you or someone you know could benefit from the pantry, or you would like to donate to the pantry, please contact Shannon Howley for more information. Permissions slips for this trip will go home next week.
Kindergarten Field Trip to Henry Vilas Zoo – May 20
Mrs. Hilario’s kindergarten class is headed to the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison to further their academic studies and to have some fun. Permission slips will go home next week.
1st-2nd Field Trip to Mid Continent Railway Museum – May 20
Mrs. Baerlocher and her class will be visiting the Mid Continent Railway Museum in North Freedom as part of their academic studies. Permission slips will go home next week.
