This will be a shortened day of classes. Lunch will be served and dismissal will be after recess.

Classroom Aide Needed
We are currently in need of an aide to help in Mrs. Diers’ 3rd-5th grade classroom. If you are able to help on a regular basis, even for just several hours per week, please contact the school office for more information.

Library Help Wanted
The CCS library needs some organizing and we could use some help entering/cataloging books into the computer system. If you are able to assist in this area, please contact the school office for details.

High School Service at Food Pantry – Wednesday, February 15th
The High School students will be spending a few hours helping set up the Food Pantry at Bridgepoint Mission Center in Wisconsin Dells this week. Permission slips for this trip are in today’s take home folder. If you or someone you know could benefit from the pantry, or you would like to donate to the pantry, please contact Shannon Howley for more information.

STEM Club – Thursday, February 16th – 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Dr. Mendoza will be leading STEM Club on Thursday, February 16th. This club is for any/all interested students. Please let the office know if your student will be staying for club.

Chess Club
Mr. Considine will be coaching Chess Club again this year. The club will start meeting next week Monday, February 20th right after school until 4:15 p.m. All students are invited and beginners are especially welcome to join. Please notify the office if your student will be staying for club.

Forensics Contests
The goal of Forensics is to enhance communication skills through participation in Theatre, Debate and Speech activities. CCS has several middle and high school students participating this year, and those in attendance at the Gala Friday night got a glimpse of what Forensics is about as several members from each team presented abbreviated portions of their pieces (they all did a fantastic job!). Schedule of events:
Monday, February 20th – High School, Sub District at Pardeeville
Tuesday, February 27th – Middle School, Level 2 at Beaver Dam (permission slips out next week).
Monday, March 13th – High School, District 8 South at DeForest
Saturday, April 22nd – High School, State at UW-Madison

2017-18 Enrollment – Now Online
Enrollment for next year is now available online: barabooccs.com/enrollment You will need to create an account using your email address–remember the email address that you use, because in subsequent years, information will be pre-populated for you. Please complete the online forms and submit your $100 family registration fee by 4/28/17 in order to guarantee your spot. Book fees and 10% of tuition are due by 8/14/17.

Lunch Volunteers Needed!
We are continuously looking for extra help at lunch time. If you are available to help with lunch recess or monitoring the lunchroom, please contact the school office. Two volunteers are needed each day of the week.
