PTO Meeting – Tonight! Monday, February 20th, 6:30 pm
There are a lot of important topics to be discussed at tonight’s PTO meeting: scrip program, 8th grade fundraisers, sports pads, Schoola, PTO officer elections, and a proposed new mission statement:
Current mission statement
The MISSION of CCS is to provide a Christ-centered education with superior academics, preparing our children to be future leaders with an emphasis on Christian character, with integrity, respect and talents developed to bring honor and glory to God.
Proposed mission statement
Community Christian School of Baraboo uses excellent education to support parents in their task of bringing up children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Classroom Aide Needed
We are currently in need of volunteer aides to help in Mrs. Diers’ 3rd-5th grade classroom, any times Monday through Friday except Tuesday afternoons. The work involves grading papers, making copies, light cleaning, recess supervision, and tutoring small groups of students. If you are able to volunteer on a regular basis, even for just several hours per week, please contact Mrs. Tracy Diers (firstname.lastname@example.org).
CCS Employment Opportunities
Immediate need: Currently seeking a teacher’s aide for the 3rd-5th grade classroom, starting as early as February 27th. The work hours are approximately 9am-2pm, Monday through Friday.

Part time elementary art teacher
Part time elementary physical education teacher

Chess Club – Mondays 3:00 to 4:15
Chess Club starts today right after school until 4:15 p.m. All students are invited and beginners are especially welcome to join. Club will meet in the high school classroom. Please notify the office if your student will be staying for club.

Saturday, April 22nd – High School, State at UW-Madison
2017-18 Enrollment – Now Online
Enrollment for next year is now available online: barabooccs.com/enrollment You will need to create an account using your email address–remember the email address that you use, because in subsequent years, information will be pre-populated for you. Please complete the online forms and submit your $100 family registration fee by 4/28/17 in order to guarantee your spot. Book fees and 10% of tuition are due by 8/14/17.
Lunch Volunteers Needed
We are continuously looking for extra help at lunch time. If you are available to help with lunch recess or monitoring the lunchroom, please contact the school office. Two volunteers are needed each day of the week.
Library Help Wanted
Our library needs some organizing and we could use some help entering/cataloging books into the computer system. If you are able to assist in this area, please contact the school office for details.
