Drop-off and Pick-up Reminder
If you need to get out of your vehicle at drop-off or pick-up, please park in one of the parking stalls. There is a traffic flow behind you, and we need to keep the line moving.
Open House, Game Night, and Art Exhibit – Thursday, March 9th – 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Everyone is invited to our spring Open House where we will showcase recent art projects created by our students, and enjoy a time of board games in the gym. This family-friendly event is open to the public and we encourage you to invite family and friends, especially those that may consider CCS for their children’s education. Free popcorn!
Also during the Open House, the 8th grade class will be selling concessions (root beer floats and sundaes) to raise money for their class trip to the Creation Museum & Ark in Kentucky later this spring.
Half Day of School – Service Project – Friday, March 10th (dismissing at 12:30)
Students will spend a portion of their time Friday morning learning about the local Warming Shelter and preparing cards for those who use the shelter. Students will be dismissed after lunch recess at 12:30 p.m.
The following Monday (March 13th) we will begin collecting paper products to be used at the shelter. A listing of products to collect will be sent home next week. These items will be collected until April 21st when the middle school students will deliver them to the shelter as part of their 30-Hour Famine service project.
PTO Officer Elections – Monday, March 20th at 6:30 p.m.
The Parent/Teacher Organization is seeking to fill open officer positions: President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The election of officers will take place at the next PTO meeting scheduled for Monday, March 20th at 6:30 p.m. If you are interested in one of these positions, please contact Angela Pemberton prior to the March meeting (608-356-2177).
Also on the agenda will be a discussion and vote for the proposed mission statement: Community Christian School of Baraboo uses excellent education to support parents in their task of bringing up children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Chess Club – Mondays 3:00 to 4:15
Chess Club meets right after school in the high school classroom until 4:15 p.m. All students are invited and beginners are especially welcome to join. Please notify the office if your student will be staying for club.
Boys Midas League Basketball – Grades 5th through 8th
The CCS Boys’ Midas team will play their final game this year on Tuesday, February 28th at 4:30 p.m.This is a home game at the House of Wellness, 2845 White Eagle Rd, Baraboo. Stop out and support our boys as they close out the season.
CCS has several middle and high school students participating in Forensics this year. Schedule of events:

Please complete the online forms and submit your $100 family registration fee by 4/28/17 in order to guarantee your spot. Book fees and 10% of tuition are due by 8/14/17.
