CCS Gala for Education – Friday, March 4th

Tickets may also be purchased through the school office. You won’t want to miss out on this special fundraising event. We have lots of interesting auction items, fun activities, and delicious food planned. Hope to see lots of you at the Gala.
CCS Chess Club – Mondays 3:15 to 4:00
Chess Club is off to a great start. Club is open to all ages and skill level, and students may drop in anytime during club. Club will meet Mondays from 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Questions? Contact Mr. Considine: firstname.lastname@example.org
Service Project Half Day – Friday, February 19 – Dismissing at 12:30 p.m.
Collection of items for our service project on February 19th is off to a slow start. Items being collected will go to Shepherd’s Ministry to be used in their college studies. Collected items can be brought in and placed in the red crate outside the office anytime now through Wednesday, February 15th. Most items on the list may be found at the Dollar Tree or Aldi’s.
- 4K – 2nd: Each student should bring in one jar of spice (for baking/cooking; i.e. cinnamon, cloves, cumin)
- 3rd – high school: Each student should bring in a package of organic seeds (flowers or vegetables)
- All Students: A package of dry-erase markers
Box Tops, Labels 4 Education, Milk Moola, My Coke Rewards – Now through February 17th
Are you saving your labels and caps? Each label/cap earns points/money for CCS! Labels/caps must be turned in no later than February 17th for your student’s classroom to get credit. The class with the highest percentage of labels/caps turned in will receive a special reward.

This is a great week to stop out to watch our CCS Royals in action, as they will be hosting a couple games at the House of Wellness. Come see how much they are improving and cheer them on. February game schedule:

Wanted – Golf Coach for 2016 Spring Season
The search is on for both head and assistant coaches for the CCS golf team. Golf season begins March 28th. If you or someone you know is interested in filling either role, please contact the school office.

Reading logs were sent home earlier. To earn a free Six Flags ticket, logs are due to CCS by Monday, February 22nd.
