Parent Committee Meeting – TONIGHT! Monday, January 25- 6:30 p.m.
Parents, please join us for this month’s meeting. We will be discussing several important items and would like your input. These meetings are a great way to stay up to date on what the committee is doing and how you can help serve.
Midas Basketball Games this week
Our CCS Royals have a couple of basketball games this week. It would be great to see folks in the bleachers cheering them on. Hope to see you there.
1/26 – Boys’ CCS will host MCDS @ House of Wellness, 2845 White Eagle Rd, Baraboo (4:30 pm)
1/21 – Boys’ CCS at Westside Christian, 6815 Schneider Rd, Middleton (4:30 pm)
1/30 – Girls’ Tournament @ Abundant Life Christian School, 4901 E. Buckeye Road, Madison
(1st game is at 12:00 noon and the 2nd game is at 1:30)
Service Project Half Day – Friday, February 19
Our service project for this quarter will focus on Shepherd’s Ministry in Union Grove, WI. Shepherds Home and School opened in 1964 in order to address the needs of intellectually disabled children, but quickly transitioned into adult ministry, focusing on vocational training. The organization now houses approximately 100 individuals who live and work at various jobs within Shepherds Enterprises. In 2008 Shepherds Ministries established Shepherds College, a 3 year post-secondary education program for young adults with intellectual disabilities. A representative from Shepherd’s, along with one of the college students, will be visiting CCS on Friday morning, February 19th. Our students will be collecting items that will be used as part of the Culinary Arts and Horticulture studies at the college. Please have all items to CCS by Wednesday, February 15th.
4K – 2nd: Each student should bring in one jar of spice
(for baking or cooking; i.e. cinnamon, cloves, cumin, garlic powder, etc.)
3rd – high school: Each student should bring in a package of organic seeds (flowers or vegetables)
All Students: A package of dry-erase markers
CCS is interested in starting a Chess Club! Are your students interested in participating? If so, please send an email to high school teacher Tom Considine: email@example.com with your students’ names and grades, and a preferred meeting day/time. The club will be open to all ages.
CCS is looking for coaches for our golf team. Golf season begins March 28th and ends with State competition June 6 & 7. If you, or someone you know, is interested in filling this role, please contact the school office.

Wisconsin Private School Tax Deduction
This tax deduction is available to any claimant for a pupil’s tuition to attend an eligible institution and for mandatory book fees paid to the institution. To receive a receipt of tuition and book fees paid during 2015, send a request to Debbie Hanchek at: firstname.lastname@example.org
MC Sports – Lake Delton
CCS has enrolled in the Team & Affiliate Program with MC Sports. Points are earned for every $10 spent at MC Sports. When our points total reaches 2500, MC will issue a check in the amount of $250 to CCS. For CCS to earn points, use sticker #5555013980 when making your purchases.
