Quarter 1 Midterm Progress Reports
Progress reports are included in today’s take-home folder. These represent a snapshot of your students’ academic standing halfway through the quarter–their final quarter grades can go up or down. Please see your student’s classroom teacher for questions. We have adopted a new grading system and are still working out some of the bugs. The progress report is yours to keep–please simply sign the outside of the envelope in the appropriate place and return the envelope to the school.

CCS Fall Festival – November 3rd – 5th
Plans for our Fall Festival are well underway and we can use your help. Do you know any crafters who would like to set up a booth for the Craft/Vendor Fair? Please contact the school office for more information. Teachers could use help with classroom crafts and on the day of the Craft/Vendor Fair. Please contact your student’s teacher to see how/where you can help. Blood drive appointments will be available soon. Watch your emails for an opportunity to sign up.
Box-Tops Bonus App
A new App is now available to help us earn bonus points with Box Tops. Turn your everyday receipts into cash for CCS. See enclosed flyer for more details.
Kwik Trip & Culver’s Scrip Cards
Scrip cards are available in the office anytime during the school day. Remember, 5% of your scrip card purchase gets credited to your tuition account.
Rock Star Volunteers Needed!
Would you like to spend the best part of the day with CCS students and earn volunteer hours at the same time?
Lunch and recess is a highlight of the students’ day, and your help contributes to its success as a safe, orderly, and fun time. It is also a critical time for the teachers to get a personal break and enjoy their own lunch. If you are able to help in the lunchroom or outside during lunch recess, please contact the school office. Our greatest need for help is every other Tuesday, and every Thursday & Friday. Free handshakes from Mr. Lempa, too!
Seeking Long-term Substitute
CCS is seeking a long-term substitute teacher for Mrs. Baerlocher’s first and second grade classroom for November and December 2016. For more information or to apply, contact Dale Lempa at email@example.com or call the school office at 608-448-2191. Please share this opportunity.
You may have noticed we have several yard signs in front of the school that advertise our Craft/Vendor Fair in November. There are several more available to anyone who is willing to help promote our event. Feel free to pick one up outside the school office.
