Cupcakes for Life – Wednesday, October 7
Students in the middle and high school classes will be handing out cupcakes at various locations around town this day. The cupcakes are in honor of all the children who have never had the opportunity to celebrate a birthday. Permission slips are in today’s take home folders.
CCS Board of Directors Meeting – Thursday, October 8
Please take time to pray for the leadership of CCS as they gather to discuss important issues pertaining to the school.
Half Day Service Project – Friday, October 9
A listing of items each classroom is to collect was sent home last week. Please have all your items to school no later than Wednesday, October 7. Items may be placed in the collection box located on the table outside the school office.
Now Accepting Credit and Debit Card Payments
You can now make tuition and lunch payments to CCS with a credit or debit card in the school office.
Field Trip to Pioneer Village & Surgeon’s Quarters – Tuesday, October 13
Students in Mrs. Diers’ 3-5 class will be touring these historical sites as part of their ongoing study of the state of Wisconsin. Permission slips will are in today’s folder. A chaperone/driver will be needed for this trip.
Pledge Drive Knuckleheads Reward – Wednesday, October 14
Students who earned the Knuckleheads Bowling Party for reaching specific goals during the drive will be headed out Wednesday morning for pizza, bowling, and other fun activities. Permission slips for these individuals will be in their take home folders next week.
Picture Orders – Due Friday, October 16
By now you should have received an email with a link to your students’ school photos. Within the email, you will find a password to use which will allow you access to the photos. Once there, you may place your order online. If you have questions, or need help with ordering, please stop by the school office for assistance.
Grandparents & Special Friends Day – Wednesday, October 21
Thank you for the great response! Invitations have been mailed, and we are eagerly waiting to hear who will join us!
CCS Craft Fair – Saturday, November 7
The 3rd annual CCS Craft Fair is quickly approaching. Here is how you can help:
Donate (or help find) items to be raffled off during the craft fair.
We still have some spots open for hand crafted items. Do you know an artisan who would like to be part of our Craft Fair? Applications are available from the school office.
Free Tutoring for Grades K – 12
The Baraboo Public Library offers free tutoring to students in all grades Kindergarten through 12th. Tutoring sessions are Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. now through December 9, 2015. The tutors are honor students from Phi Theta Kappa from UW-Baraboo/Sauk County. All ages, all abilities, all subject matter welcome. No registration required.
BoxTops and Labels 4 Education – Class Competition continues through October 14th
Keep clipping! Just a little over one week left in our competition to see which class brings in the highest percentage of BoxTops and Labels 4 Education. The winning classroom will earn a special reward.
