PTO Meeting – Tuesday, September 19th – 3:10 pm
This year’s first Parent/Teacher Organization meeting will be Tuesday, September 19th right after school dismissal in the gym. The meeting will begin at 3:10 pm to allow time to get parked and settled in. Attending PTO meetings is highly encouraged for all parents/guardians, and a great way to stay informed on PTO events.

CCS Musicians After School Music Club – Auditions – Thursday, September 21st
Ms. Cross will be holding auditions this Thursday, September 21st from 3:15 to 3:45 for anyone interested in being part of the new CCS Musicians after school club. If you have not already signed up, please contact Ms. Cross for more information: jcross@barabooccs.com

See You At The Pole (SYATP) – Wednesday, September 27th
SYATP is an annual gathering of thousands of Christian students at the flagpoles in front of their local schools for prayer, scripture-reading, and worship during the early morning before school starts. This year, Baraboo students will gather at 7:00 am around the Jack Young Middle School flagpole due to construction at the high school. CCS students are welcome to join them, but will be responsible for their own transportation to CCS. Students are also welcome to gather at the flagpole in front of CCS. In the evening a SYATP Rally will be held at 7:00 at Emanuel United Methodist Church (101 14th Street, Baraboo). Michael Lane from Fort Wilderness will be the guest speaker and the praise team from Faith Christian Church out of Mauston will lead music. Board Nomination Forms – Due September 29th
CCS has four positions to fill on the Board of Directors. Prayerfully consider who you believe will be a good candidate for one of these slots. Nomination forms are available in the school office and completed forms are due by Friday, September 29th. Presentation of board candidates will be held during the October PTO meeting and the election will then be held during the November PTO meeting.

Farm to Table Dinner Fundraiser – Thursday, September 28th

Half Day Service Project – Friday, September 29 (dismissing at 12:30 pm)
Each year CCS gives back to the community by performing various services projects. Our first half day service project is next week Friday, September 29th. Our guest speakers are Micheleen Cook and Angela Pemberton. These CCS moms are part of a four-member team heading to Africa to support West African missionaries who will be gathering for a conference. While the adults are in meetings, the support team will lead VBS for the missionary children, toddlers through teenagers. CCS students will be making cards and friendship bracelets for the missionary children. School will be dismissed at 12:30pm and bus service will be provided to the high school bus lane.
