Hi All,

Here is the newsletter for this week. In addition, I have attached an updated Weekend Cleaning Schedule. If you have not already done your weekend cleaning, please check the schedule to see when you are expected to come clean the school. Mr. Paape is here each Saturday morning from 8:00 until 11:00 to open the building and get all the cleaning supplies for you. If you have questions, please call the school office.

Special points of interest:
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21st 4:30 p.m. – HAIRY & COMPANY @ Walnut Hill Bible Church, Baraboo
Looking for something to do during this bitter cold weather? Join CCS at Walnut Hill Bible Church in bringing Hairy & Company to Baraboo. “Hairy & Company” is a part of a longtime Outreach Ministry of Camp Forest Springs in Westboro, WI. This is a family friendly event and admission is FREE!

A spaghetti dinner in the fellowship hall will follow the show. A suggested donation of $10/family will benefit CCS.

Parents, we still need volunteers to help serve the spaghetti dinner, as well as clean up after the event. We also encourage student participation, and ask that they wear uniforms if they will be helping serve or clear tables during the event. Please let the office know if you and/or your student will be able to help.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH – 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – OPEN HOUSE & GAME NIGHT
Another fun indoor activity during the winter is to play board games. CCS is opening the doors on Thursday, February 26th for the public to come in and take a tour of the school, meet some CCS families and staff, and to learn about how Classical Christian Education is having a positive impact in the lives of our students. We are also inviting all CCS families to come out and enjoy a fun evening playing board games, and getting to know each other better. This FREE event is open to the public and all are welcome to join us. Let’s show our community what a fun time we have at CCS!

SATURDAY, MARCH 7TH – 6:00 p.m. – ? BOOT STOMPIN’ GALA for EDUCATION
Each year CCS hosts a “Gala for Education” fundraising event. The event includes a full meal, live and silent auctions, raffle drawings, Live Band with dancing, and lots of fun! All proceeds from this event benefit CCS. In order to make this event a success, we need your help…

First…an order form for Gala tickets is included in the take-home folder today. Please consider attending this event and getting your reduced priced tickets before they are all sold out! Just return the completed form to the school office, it’s that simple!
Second, invite your friends! This Gala is not just for CCS parents. Although we encourage as many CCS parents to attend that can, we also want friends and family to join us for this fun evening. Tickets can be purchased online through our website, or by calling the school office.
Third, we need homemade canned goods for our “Grandma’s Country Cupboard” (to be auctioned at the Gala). Soups, jellies, jams, veggies, etc. are all welcome items. These can be dropped off in the school office.

PIERCE’S REWARD CARDS
Do you shop at Pierce’s Market? Did you know that as you shop, you can earn points for every $1 you spend which can then be redeemed for exclusive savings throughout the store? In addition, if you designate CCS as your charity of choice, CCS will receive a percentage of your sales in a quarterly check. For your convenience I’ve included a sign up form for the rewards card in today’s folder.

BOX TOP CHALLENGE UPDATE
The winning classroom from the competition we held the past two weeks is the Middle School. They will receive an extra special surprise to be determined by Mrs. Hawkins. Congratulations! Thank you all for your hard work saving, clipping, and bringing in Box Tops during our challenge. Every label helps our school.

Have a great rest of your week and weekend. Try to stay warm. Spring IS on the way with warmer weather.

Serving for God’s glory,
