We had another wonderful time of praise and worship during Chapel this morning. Mrs. Hanchek always knows just the right songs to sing that will bring us to the throne of God in preparation for our message of the day. Pastor Duane Holby shared from I Corinthians 13:4-8 this morning. He asked, “How can other people know you are a Christian?” The answer quite simply is, “they (the ‘world’) will know we are Christians by the way we love each other.” How we treat our brothers and sisters in Christ should be a reflection of the love God shows us. We should treat each other with patience and kindness. Our love toward one another should be a love filled with truth and hope. It should not be full of anger, envy, or records of wrong, but a selfless love that seeks to protect and one that never ends. Let’s be the love to our fellow believers in Christ and to those in the ‘world’ who still seek God’s redeeming love.
