Roxanne Biffert is in her second year as a part-time high school teacher at CCS. Currently she is teaching high school Grammar, Rhetoric, Government, and Omnibus. Roxanne’s education degrees include a B.S. in Secondary English and Journalism from UW-Oshkosh and an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from UW-Madison. Before her “retirement” and joining the staff at CCS, Roxanne taught English at Wisconsin Dells High School for 36 years. Over the years, she enjoyed working with students in extra-curricular activities, including coaching forensics, co-directing student productions, and advising yearbook and newspaper publications.
Her passion for teaching stems from a desire to instill a love for continually learning within herself and her students, both academically and spiritually. She shares her life with husband David, children Brittany and David, and family dog, Scout. At this point in her life, her one hobby is to rediscover her dormant talents in crafting with a newfound passion and patience.
