Community Christian School Uniform Guidelines:
Our students are expected to wear uniforms every day unless specified for a special occasion. The basic uniform consists of Khaki or Navy colored dress pants and a polo with a logo. Children arriving at school in inappropriate clothing will be sent home and allowed to return in appropriate dress.
The embroidered logo must appear on any top worn in the classroom.
The polos can be long or short sleeve and in mesh or interlock fabric. The following colors are approved for grades K-8:
Chambray Blue (light blue),Navy Blue,Red,Ice pink (light pink),Maize (light yellow),Cobalt (deep royal blue),Evergreen (dark hunter green)
High School students base blouse or shirt must be white with collar.
We do require that each K-8 student has either a Cobalt or Chambray Blue polo for dress occasions, field trips, and other special days.
Cardigan and zip front sweaters are allowed over the polo’s but must have an embroidered logo.
Bottoms must be a chino, twill, or corduroy material. NO denim, knit or cargo pockets allowed. No rips, tears, or holes please.
Skirts, skorts, dresses and shorts must me knee length on the child wearing them. Skirts, skorts and dresses are approved for year round use, but must be worn with solid colored tights or tight fit leggings during winter months. (white, ivory, navy, black, khaki)
Shoes must be dark-colored (navy, black, brown). No clogs, open toes, or boots allowed. Preference is for tennis shoes or dress shoes. Tennis shoes can have some trim of another color.
No hats are allowed in the classroom. Jewelry should be minimal.
Gym Uniform:
Navy shorts (fingertip length), or sweatpants
CCS screen printed tee, gray, navy
Non-skid tennis shoes with socks
May also purchase a screen printed zip up hoodie for gym class
