Cindy Allen can be as diverse of a person as her roles at CCS. She is thrilled to be a part of this amazing school by teaching elementary Physical Education, high school Art, and starting the new Aftercare program. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota and continued her studies to earn a Wisconsin state certification from UW-Oshkosh and Milwaukee Lutheran College. Cindy moved with her five children to Baraboo in 2008. She subbed in the Baraboo school system for several years and also worked a variety of other jobs, including as Childcare Director and 3K teacher at another local private school in Baraboo. Cindy is now pursuing her master’s degree in Educational Leadership at MLC.
She currently enjoys her life living in the Baraboo countryside with her husband David. While her older children have moved on to marriage and jobs, her youngest two children are still in college. She has been blissfully married to her husband David for five years. They love ballroom and polka dancing, attending Renaissance fairs, canoeing and kayaking, biking, hiking, photography, volunteering, exploring the United States, and call themselves official “National Park Geeks.” She has also traveled internationally to Costa Rica and Switzerland to serve on Work and Witness teams. For the last fifteen years, Cindy has been calling beginner barn dances throughout the state and keeping this historical folk tradition alive.
Cindy hopes to bring her passion for lifelong learning to CCS. Her goal at CCS is to encourage others to joyfully live up to their full God-given potential while serving others.
