Community Christian School of Baraboo is currently accepting applications for the following positions for the 2019-20 school year.  To apply for any opening, please email resume, three references, and personal testimony or statement of faith to the school administrator (administrator@barabooccs.com).  Documents should be in PDF format.  Candidates that can fulfill multiple part-time roles (e.g., part-time PhyEd and part-time computer teacher, or part-time principal and part-time high school teacher) will be given special consideration.  All new employees will have a background check conducted.  Salaried positions begin July 1, 2019 and continue until June 30, 2020.  All applicants must be in good standing at a local evangelical church with regular attendance.

 

Elementary Faculty Openings

In addition to the documents requested above, applicants for faculty positions should also include transcripts.  Elementary art, music, physical education, and technology teachers must have earned a Bachelor of Art degree (or higher) in their assigned field, or be actively working toward meeting this requirement within three years.

High School Faculty Openings

In addition to the documents requested above, applicants for faculty positions should also include transcripts.  High school teacher candidates must have earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning that includes 12 semester hours of credit in teacher education as part of or in addition to the degree, or is actively working toward meeting this requirement within three years. They must also have earned at least 12 semester hours of credit in the subject area that they teach.

Administrative and Support Staff Openings

  • full- or part-time principal
    • An ideal principal candidate will have earned at least 18 semester hours of credit in educational administration and supervision from an accredited institution of higher learning as part of a graduate degree or in addition to a graduate degree, or is actively working toward meeting this requirement within five years.  Applicants should include transcripts in their application.
  • full-time teacher’s aide
    • Teacher’s aide candidates must have graduated from high school or earned a GED (or higher).  Applicants should include transcripts in their application.
  • part-time maintenance
    • An ideal maintenance candidate will have experience managing and maintaining institutional buildings and grounds.
  • part-time high school coaches of girls’ tennis and boys’ golf
    • Ideal coach candidates will have experience coaching high school sports.
