Bible-A-Thon – March 18th through April 12th

The CCS annual Bible-A-Thon (BAT) is off to a great start. Approximately 20 students have turned in pledges totaling just over $1,000 so far. The next date to turn in pledge sheets is this week Wednesday, April 3rd. Please contact the school office if you have questions. All CCS students are encouraged to participate.

April 4th – Half Day (dismissing at 12:30)

Students will be dismissed after lunch recess. Parent/Teacher Conferences begin at 1:00.

April 5th – No School

There will be no school on Friday due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.

Parent/Teacher Conferences – April 4th & 5th

Conferences are this Thursday and Friday. A letter with your conference time(s) was sent home prior to Spring Break. If you need a reminder of your appointment time, please contact the office.

Bake Sale – April 4th & 5th

The 8th grade students will be holding a bake sale during Parent/Teacher Conferences. All proceeds from the sale will help offset the cost of their annual trip to the Creation Museum in Kentucky. If you would like to donate baked goods to this cause, please contact Mrs. Hawkins:

Reading Packet

CCS Reading Specialist Mrs. Sessler has put together a packet with information on the importance of reading daily to your children. The packet is included in today’s Family Folder.

Milk/Lunch Order Forms – Due Wednesday, April 3rd

A new form for lunch/milk orders is in today’s Family Folder. This covers April 15th through May 17th.

Guitar Club for Middle and High School – Mondays (3:15 to 4:15)

Guitars are not required to join and all levels of experience are welcome. Instruments of several types will be available for the students to use. The club is open to students in grades 5-12.

Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteers (2-3) are needed to assist with recess and the lunchroom on Fridays. Please contact the office if you can help.

Board Contact with Families

Members of the governing board will be reaching out to each family in the school in order to meet, get to know each other, and foster communication and fellowship among the school.
