Wisconsin Forward Assessments
During the month of April, certain grades will be taking standardized assessments at CCS:
Thursday, April 25 – grades 3-4 (Wisconsin Forward)
Thursday, April 26- grades 7-8 (Wisconsin Forward)
Tuesday, April 30 – grades 5-6 (Wisconsin Forward)
*Tuesday, April 23 – grade 10 (Wisconsin Forward) *Note that grade 10 testing was rescheduled.
Please avoid scheduling any appointments or activities that would remove students from school on these dates. Let us know if you have any questions. Please make sure your child has plenty of sleep the night before and a good breakfast.

Bible-A-Thon Reward Day – Wednesday, April 24th
Students who earned the Adventure Reward during the Bible-A-Thon will spend part of the day with Mr. Sundsmo rock climbing (climbing wall), playing games, and having lunch (provided) at Expeditions Unlimited. Subway order forms are included with permission slips in today’s Family Folder. Please complete and return both forms by Tuesday, April 23rd. Chaperones are needed for this trip. Please indicate on permission slip if available to help.

“Put Your Teacher in Jail” – April 22nd to May 3rd
The 8th grade class is heading to the Creation Museum in Kentucky May 17-19. To help defray the cost of this trip, the class is hosting a “Put Your Teacher in Jail” fundraiser which begins today. Students are encouraged to donate their change to the “jail jar” associated with the teacher they would most like to see “jailed” for half a day. The teacher with the most “jail jar” funds will spend an afternoon in “jail” and their class will get a party.

National Day of Prayer – Thursday, May 2nd
CCS has been invited to be part of the National Day of Prayer. This event is held on the Sauk County Courthouse lawn in downtown Baraboo. Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade have been invited to participate. Permission slips are in today’s Family Folder.

Middle & High School Service Project – Friday, May 3rd
Students in grades 7 through 12, along with their teachers, will be performing a service project on Friday, May 3, 2019. They will be serving at Expeditions Unlimited near Devil’s Lake to help prepare for their summer camps and events. Permission slips are in today’s Family Folder.

Culver’s & Kwik Trip Scrip Cards
We have a good supply of scrip cards available through the school office. Any amount you purchase earns 5% of the purchase value toward your family’s tuition.

Volunteer Opportunity
Several volunteers are needed to assist with recess and the lunchroom on Fridays. Please contact the office if you can help.
