New School Hours start today, Monday, February 25th

School will start 10 minutes early, at 7:50 am. The regular morning shuttle bus already arrives by this time.

School will end 15 minutes later, at 3:15 pm. The regular afternoon shuttle bus will be 15 minutes later.

Third Quarter Midterm Progress Reports Released – Today, Monday, February 25th

Progress reports are in today’s family folders. You may keep the report for your records. Please sign the envelope acknowledging you have received the report, and return it to the school office.

CCS Family Game Show Night – Friday, March 1 – 6:30 pm

This Friday night stop out to the school for an evening of fun and games. The CCS PTO is hosting a CCS Family Feud game night. Play against other CCS families (make your own team of 5, or join a team when you arrive) or be part of the “studio audience” – either way, there is guaranteed to be plenty of laughs. This is a family friendly event, kids are welcome and there will be plenty of snacks available for all.

Aldo Leopold Field Trip – March 4th

Students in Mrs. Dier’s 3rd & 4th grade classroom will be heading to Madison next Monday to tour the Aldo Leopold Center. They will do some snowshoeing and learn about winter ecology. Permission slips were sent home last week. One or two more chaperones are still needed for this trip. Please contact the school office if you are able to help.

Come Out and Tube with Us! Tuesday, March 5 (4:00 to 9:00)

Our tubing fundraiser at Cascade Mountain is just a little over a week away on Tuesday, March 5th (4 to 9 pm). Free hand warmers will be provided. The public is invited to participate so please spread the word. A warming and observation area is available in the snack shack and does not require a ticket. See previous flyer for more information.

Classroom Challenge Results

Mrs. Baerlocher’s 1st & 2nd grade classroom came out on top in our BoxTop/Milk Moola challenge. They were closely followed by Mr. Wunderlich’s 5th & 6th grade classroom. Congratulations 1st-2nd; your class wins a special reward.

2019-20 School Year Re-enrollment

Online re-enrollment and a non-refundable $100 family registration fee are due Thursday, April 18 in order to guarantee your non-Choice students’ space in the classroom.

Parental Choice Program

Open enrollment for the Wisconsin Parental Choice (aka voucher) Program is now through April 20. If you intend to apply for a voucher, it is recommended that you apply early in case corrections need to be made to your application.

Culver’s & Kwik Trip Scrip Cards

We have a good supply of scrip cards available through the school office. Any amount you purchase earns 5% of the purchase value toward your family’s tuition. In addition you’ll receive a coupon for a free value meal basket for every $30 of Culver’s cards purchased (coupons expire February 28, 2019).
