Lunch & Milk Order Forms – Due Wednesday, January 24th
Order forms for February 5th through March 2nd are in today’s take home folders. Please complete and return with your take home folder no later than this Wednesday, January 24th.

Classroom Challenge – January 29th to February 15th
It’s time again to bring in your BoxTops, Milk Moola, Coke Rewards and Ranch Wheels for our classroom challenge. Beginning Monday, January 29th and running through Thursday, February 15th, students are encouraged to bring in items listed above. The classroom that collects the highest percentage will receive a special reward.

Chess Club – Tuesdays 3:00 to 4:00
Chess Club will begin Tuesday, January 30th and will meet every Tuesday afternoon in the high school classroom. All students are invited and beginners are especially welcome to join. Please notify the office if your student will be staying for club.

Field Trip – 1st & 2nd Grade – February 9th
Mrs. Baerlocher’s class will be taking a tour of the Post Office and the Baraboo State Bank on Friday, February 9th. Permission slips are in today’s take home folders. Completed forms should be returned with your take home folder by this Wednesday, January 24th. Please indicate if you are available to help drive/chaperone.

Parental Choice Program – Flyers and Brochures
Please spread the word about the Wisconsin Parental Choice (aka voucher) Program! You will find brochures and flyers in your folder; please feel free to share these with your local churches, businesses, and anywhere else visible to the public.

Open enrollment for the program is February 1 through April 20. If you intend to apply for a voucher, it is recommended that you apply early in case corrections need to be made to your application. CCS will host an informational meeting on Monday, March 5 at 6:30pm to guide parents through the application process and to answer questions.

Lost and Found
There are several items that have been found around the school over the past several weeks. These items are located in the cubbies outside of the office. Please take anything that belongs to you or your student.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Mass Mailing – letters need to be stuffed in envelopes for mailing and flyers need to be placed around town.
  • Fundraising Committee – CCS is seeking individuals interested in serving on the Fundraising Committee.
  • Boys Golf Coaches – CCS is seeking volunteers to coach the boys’ golf team for this spring season, which begins March and ends with competitions in May.
  • Lunchroom/Recess Supervision. Help is need to serve lunch and monitor the lunchroom each day. Outdoor recess monitors are also need during lunch.

Wisconsin Private School Tax Deduction
This tax deduction is available to any claimant for a pupil’s tuition to attend an eligible institution and for mandatory book fees paid to the institution. To receive a receipt of tuition and mandatory book fees paid during the 2017 calendar year, send a request to the office at:

Boys Midas League Basketball – Grades 5th through 8th
Regular practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 3:15 to 5:00 except on game days.
