PearUp Fundraising – We Met Our Goal!
Thank you to all who were able to help us meet our $1,000 goal with PearUp and Cell.Plus. Without you we could not have been able to make this happen.

Timbavati Field Trip – Friday, May 26
Students in 1st through 8th grade will be visiting Timbavati Wildlife Park in Wisconsin Dells. Students will need a sack lunch and good walking shoes. Entry fee of $5.50 needs to be paid to the school office by Wednesday.

Grades 1-2 Field Trip to Madison – Wednesday, May 31
Students in Mrs. Baerlocher’s class will be visiting the Planetarium in Madison and performing volunteer service nearby.

Kindergarten and 8th Grade Graduation – Tuesday, May 30 – 6:30 pm
Graduation will be held at Living Hope Church. Dress code for participating students (grades 1-5) is the default field trip uniform: royal blue polo shirt with logo, and khaki bottoms. Students should arrive at the church by 6:00. Kindergarten and 8th grade graduates may wear dress clothes. A rehearsal will be held at the church in the morning with transportation provided by a charter bus.

Field Day – Friday, June 2
Parents are invited to watch and participate in Field Day activities after lunch on Friday, June 2. Bill Johnson has planned some fun activities, and we will have a frozen custard “sundae bar” from Culver’s as a special treat for everyone. Awards will be presented at 2:30 pm.

High School Graduation – Thursday, June 8 – 6:30 pm
Graduation will be held at Walnut Hill Bible Church. High schoolers need to arrive by 5:30 for rehearsal. Participating high school students should wear dress clothes.

Labels Challenge – Now through May 24
Last call for labels! Students are challenged to bring in as many Box Tops, Labels4Education, Milk Moola, MyCokeRewards, and Pizza Ranch Wagon Wheels as possible. All items need to be turned into the classroom teacher by Wednesday, May 24. The classroom with the highest percentage of collected labels/caps, etc. will receive a special reward.

Schoola Clothing Drive for CCS – May 1 through May 26
Last call! If you are inspired to do some spring cleaning, your closet is a great place to start and CCS is a great place to donate! Your pre-loved women’s and children’s clothing helps CCS earns $2 out of every $5 sold through Schoola.

Scholarship Application Deadline – May 30
Tuition scholarships are available each year and awarded to families based on proven need. Scholarship applications for the 2017-18 school year are due by Tuesday, May 30. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please ask the school office for an application.
