Reports are in today’s take-home folders. You may keep the report; please sign and return the envelope.

Teacher Appreciation Week

This week, May 7 through May 11, is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you for your support of CCS teachers!

Yearbooks

2017-18 yearbooks are still available for purchase. Online orders have closed, but you can order through the school with cash or a check made out to CCS.

Expeditions Service Project – Rescheduled for this Friday, May 11

Our final all-school service project has been rescheduled for this Friday afternoon. Expeditions Unlimited will provide most of the transportation for this project, but one or two more drivers would be helpful. The group will leave school at 11:30 am and return to CCS for end of day dismissal. Please let the office know if you can help provide transportation.

Grades 3 & 4 to Rural Safety Days – Wednesday, May 16

Students in Mrs. Diers’s class will take part in the annual Rural Safety Days Camp held at the Sauk County Fairgrounds. A volunteer is still needed to stay with the group during the day to help chaperone. Please let the office know if you can help.

Grades 3 & 4 to Old World Wisconsin – Friday, May 18

Students in Mrs. Diers’s class will travel to Old World Wisconsin where they will learn about early settlers to Wisconsin. Permission slips were sent home last week. If you have not already done so, please turn in your payment of $4.00/student.

Grades K-2 to Mary Poppins – Friday, May 18

Students in Mrs. Hilario’s and Mrs. Baerlocher’s classrooms will be attending the dress rehearsal for Mary Poppins at the Al Ringling Theater. The play is being performed by students from St. John’s Lutheran School. Drivers are needed for this trip. Permission slips are in today’s take home folders.

Grades 1 & 2 – Discovery World Milwaukee – Friday, May 25

Students in Mrs. Baerlocher’s class will travel to Milwaukee for some hands-on experiences at Discovery World Science & Technology Center. Permission slips were sent home last week.

Kindergarten & 8th Grade Graduation – Thursday, May 31 – 6:30 pm

Graduation will be held at Living Hope Church. Dress code for participating students (grades 1-5) is the default field trip uniform: royal blue polo shirt with logo and khaki bottoms. Kindergarten & 8th Grade graduates may wear dress clothes.

Field Day – Friday, June 1

Parents are invited to watch and participate in Field Day activities after lunch on Friday, June 2. Awards will be presented at 2:30 pm.

High School Graduation – Thursday, June 7 – 6:30 pm

Graduation will be held at Walnut Hill Bible Church. Participating high school students should wear dress clothes.

End of School Year

The last day of 4K is May 24. The last day of K-8 is June 1. The last day of high school is June 8.
