American Sign Language (ASL) Club – Begins October 22nd
ASL Club begins this afternoon and runs from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The club will meet each week throughout the year when school is in session. If your student would like to participate, please contact the office. Parents required for fourth graders and younger. This club is also open to homeschool groups and CCS parents.
Box Top Challenge – Ends October 23rd
The rewards challenge ends tomorrow, Tuesday, October 23rd. Be sure your student turns in all of the Box Tops, Milk Moola, Coke Rewards and Ranch Rewards (Pizza Ranch wagon wheels) for their classroom. This is for all grade levels. At the end of the challenge the class with the highest percentage of collected items will earn a special reward.
Milk/Lunch Order Form – Due Friday, October 26th
A new lunch/milk order form is included in today’s take home folder. Please complete and return no later than Friday, October 26th. If your child will not be ordering milk or lunch, please complete the form with their name and cross out the lunch/milk options. For those who are ordering lunch, you may want to make a copy or take a picture of the completed order form for reference. Thank you!
CCS Craft & Vendor Fair – Volunteers Needed Friday, November 2 & Saturday, November 3rd
Volunteers are needed to help with the Craft Fair. Please contact the office.
Nov 2: 8:00 am to noon – clear out classrooms, mark booth areas, move lunch tables, & set up eating area.
4:00 pm to 8:00 pm – assist vendors with early set up.
Nov 3: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – clean up and to restore classrooms for Monday classes.

Junior High Boys Basketball
The CCS Junior High Boys Basketball team is looking for boys to sign up for this upcoming season. Boys in grades 5th to 8th grade at CCS or homeschooled can sign up for the team by clicking here. Practice will start on November 29th after school. Games run through December and January, with most games and practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Games will be played against area private schools and Madison homeschool teams.
Picture Retake Day – Thursday, November 15th
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your school pictures, contact the office and a spot will be reserved for your student on Picture Retake Day. Pictures will be taken first thing Thursday morning, November 15th.
Veteran’s Day Program – Thursday, November 15th – 6:30 pm
CCS students, along with their teachers, have prepared a special program to honor our American Heroes: Military, Police, Fire and EMS personnel – active and retired. The program will be held at Living Hope Church in Baraboo and begins at 6:30 pm. Students should wear red, white or blue uniform tops and khaki pants/skirts. This program will replace our annual Christmas program. CCS will continue its tradition of singing Christmas carols in the local community.
Parent/Student Meetings with the Board
There will be two meetings at which members of the governing body of the school will be present and at which all pupils and the parents or guardians of all pupils applying to attend the school or attending the school may meet and communicate with board members. The meetings will take place at CCS at the following dates and times:
