Welcome to 5th Grade! I am so excited to meet you and have your child/children in my class! This is my second year teaching 5th grade and my first year teaching at Community Christian School. I recently moved to Baraboo from Madison, Wisconsin. I received my BS of Education with an English as a Second Language Minor from University of Wisconsin (UW), Stevens Point. I also have received an Associates degree of Arts and Science with a Business Emphasis through UW Baraboo/Sauk County. I grew up mostly in Wisconsin but also lived in Ft. Rucker, Alabama for a time. I discovered my love for teaching after doing missionary work I. South Korea. I like to teach because I believe every child is special to God and has potential for greatness. I want to help your child enjoy learning, discover who God created them to be, and reach their full potential.
I like to teach 5th grade because it was at the age of 11 that I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. I believe that the ages of 10-11 are pivotal ages for students and desire to connect your student to a personal relationship with their Creator. I pray God give you wisdom as you consider CCS for your child/children.
