Erin Mews

3rd and 4th Grade Teacher

Hello,

My name is Erin Mews. I was born and raised in Marshfield, WI. I only moved to Baraboo in the summer of 2023. I earned my Associates degree from UW-Stevens Point in Marshfield back in 2019. I then earned my Bachelor's degree from UW-Stevens Point main campus in December of 2021 majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Teaching English as a Second Language. From there I substitute taught in a few different schools and became a 3rd grade teacher in Colby, WI. Now, God has me here in Baraboo teaching 3rd and 4th grade!

I grew up knowing the Lord and gave my life to him at a very young age. I went on my first mission trip to Milwaukee when I was 8 years old. God has also called me to go to El Salvador on week long missions trips in 2013-2018. My trip in January of 2018 was life changing and God told me that there was more for me to do. I went back to the field in the summer of 2018 as an intern for Castillo Del Rey and spent 2 months ministering in the streets to people of all ages and to refugees from Nicaragua. More recently, God gave me an amazing opportunity to go to Italy in 2023. I helped children learn about Jesus and the English language in the Cesena region.
