High School Math and Science Teacher

Community Christian School (CCS) of Baraboo is seeking a High School Math and ScienceTeacher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach high school level Math and Science, including Computer Science, Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, and other advanced math classes, to high school students in a non-denominational Christian, religious high school.

  • Prepare materials for instruction and class activities.

  • Plan and implement class curriculum.

  • Assign and grade class work and homework and provide progress reports as required.

  • Maintain regular and accurate attendance and grade records.

  • Communicate with students, parents, and the administration regarding student progress and need for improvement.

  • Work with the Board and administration in implementing all policies, procedures, and directives governing the operation of the school.

  • Keep proper discipline in the classroom and on the school premises.

  • Maintain a clean, attractive, well-ordered classroom. Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.

  • Integrate Biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum and activities.

  • Follow the Matthew 18 principle in dealing with students, parents, staff, and administration.

  • Attend and participate in scheduled devotional, in-service, meetings or retreats, committee, faculty, and Parent/Teacher meetings.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. Adhere to the Doctrinal Statement of Faith of CCS available at https://barabooccs.org/faculty-staff.

Faithfully attend and support a local Christian church whose fundamental beliefs are in agreement with the Doctrinal Statement of Faith of CCS. Be a

Christian role model in attitude, speech and actions toward others. Must be available for some after-school and weekend activities and/or meetings and events, as needed.

Job location: CCS of Baraboo, E12654 County Rd. T, Baraboo, WI, and up to 20h/wk\commuting to affiliated campus at 411 Prairie Heights Dr, Verona, Wisconsin, within reasonablecommuting distance.

In-person, full-time position Monday through Friday. Must be available for some after-school and weekend activities and/or meetings and events, as needed.
